The technical requirements for the irrigation of the vineyard and garden areas have already been implemented. A multistage centrifugal pump in the technology building ensures that the spring water is later pumped to a higher reservoir. From there, the water is conducted to the vineyard and garden areas through a network of pipes that has already been laid. The irrigation can then be controlled remotely by the operators themselves via automated solenoid valves.
At present, a radio based SCADA system is being implemented for data transmission and measurement of a weather station with soil moisture sensors as well as other necessary measurement technology.
